A wounded boy, overwhlemed by the forces of adulthood, needing control of his future, wanting her love, for pride, for flesh, for heart and soul. Aware of the sacrifice, and yet failing to fall, prone and where I belong. Forgive me Father, for I am a cocky MARINE, learned so for survival, worried about the future, and still just a little boy, overwhelmed and standing strong. The few. The proud. The Marines. |
