I ain’t lovesick and I ain’t no crackpot.
Just because I sit and wait for the sound of the clicking gate
as it opens in the middle of night.
Just because I sit and watch your silhouette as you walk back and forth in your darkened bedroom.

gentle touch and soothing words

How I await for you to stroke my golden hair saying.
