In The Middle of The Desert Me and my camel were not doing so well. We needed some water or a wishing well. My tongue was hanging out, my face was turning red, If we didn't find an oasis with water pretty soon I'd be dead. I wiped the sweat from my brow, adjusted the turban on my head, that's when I spotted an oasis straight ahead. There a fair maiden met us, a vessel of cool water in her hand, I quenched my thirst and then she took my hand. "Come with me, I grant a wish to you." She led me to a silky pond, we talked, we swam, we shared some kisses too. In the middle of the desert me and a maiden shared water from a wishing well. Tonight we sleep in each others arms, tomorrow perhaps I'll have beautiful stories to tell. JamesLee July 01 2004 |
