I’m scared, Scared that my life will turn out the way I had hoped it not. I’m afraid to fail, to disappoint, to feel unnecessary pain, all because of the choices I make today. What if my future is meant to be something other than I envision today? What if my destiny is to take another path; one I haven’t found yet ( or have found but am too afraid to accept ) I don’t want to die with a million or more regrets hanging over me. I want to be able to say to myself, “I lived my life the best that I could and I wouldn’t change a thing” What if I marry the wrong person, and the right person was a bystander all along? What if my career path fails and I’m forced to work three minimum-wage jobs? These next few years are crucial to what I want to achieve in life. The path I choose today could alter my entire future, for better or worse. I must choose wisely…* There is not ONE person in this world that you cannot live without. |
