I walked through the forest
to forget your memory
but it was your voice,
the whispers of every tree

I waited for the rain
to wash me away
to cleanse me of emotions
of my yesterday

the rain became a river
that lead me to you
and left my heart swirling
in pools of aqua blue

the pools became the ocean
I thought at last I would be free
but all along you were the tides
ever pulling me........

sometimes those whipers are to loud for rain and rivers to block the sound, ever pulling of the tides....yes understanding this

~~**~~
The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
The echo of our souls meet

I will be saying those last 9 words for days...they have molded in my heart and are now a part of me.  What a wonderful piece!
