I believe
there’s so much love
living here
under the rocks of hands,
beneath earthskin,
just past the threshold of Terra firma

It flows as a river of youth
I can see
where it’s seeped up through stone,
carving subtle curves, deep valleys
and a marbled belly of man

This essence
has wound round strong shoulders,
collected into finger trees,
and settled into eyes
as molten sky fires

This genesis
of hard cores and raging shores
lack a creator’s timeless stir
There are no miracles in the curse of routine
everything...dynamic
needs an intimate, evoking touch

Though there be temples on the horizon,
there is a body of watering life
just waiting for one shaping stroke,
one tender evolving kiss

to be finished...later...as a private island

I can not even pick my favorite part again!  Stop that!  I can NOT wait until you say to me, "It's printed, do you want to buy one?"  One!  I will give them to everyone on my Christmas list.

Regina, I am really enjoying reading your poetry -- it flows with the life of your private island!  This was marvelous!   ....jo

Reg,
If Sharon can't pick I will:

You conger up some amazing images in my mind. You rock as usual.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
