I expected the unexpected...once again
and received what I always get
...at a time of need and comfort
and a time of celebration
and a time of sympathy

a silent reminder of my worth

Oh boy...

Your worth has yet to be determined,
as I continue to find gold nuggets
every time you post.

A worth that is beyond weakly pay,
   one beyond a nightly stay;
Your worth, I see behind your words,
in the crickets song, and chirp of birds.

Is that corny or what?  I enjoy reading your work.

M,
The value of an M! I've checked around and find that you're all the M I need. That my friend is worth a lot.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

REMEMBER, as you read these words, they are written in utter silence, and are a reflection of your worth . . .

             I Adore You

through the words you write, the feelings you cause, the things you allow us all to see - through your picture which looks right at me day and night whenever I need it too.

And if you ever need to be reminded of that -
touch a leaf, feel the breeze or look at the sky and I'll be in every one spiritually.

Worth?

You're irreplaceable, and unique to me, my friend, and I've never even met you.

... and I'm not "In A Mood" either.

Let no one tell you your worth Maureen, especially at a time such as this, plese try to be your own judge, and just simply "be".  May peace be with you all down there in these edgy and sorrowful times.

the significance in you, is like no other, you are unique, and very important...to our being, to those who have yet to know you...and to those who already do, and love you.  Smiles and hugs...

Your worth..... we know a little of it and an initimate part of it.....but you, M., are the only one who will ever know its totality.  I echo everything that everyone above said.  It made me think of my birthday when I read your poem.  Every year, no one celebrates my birthday (except a girl friend who knows how disappointing it is every year, and the message here at PIP).  I suppose that is vanity to want to be worshipped for one day....so....I gave it up.  This year, I loved me....I valued me, and I did not wait for others to show me what I was worth!  You really touched on an important subject to me in your poem, and I value your wordsworth (pun intended) very, very much!  *hugs* ...jo
