As we recall forgotten details she is captured by all we forget throughout our ordinary days our ordinary lives there is more than this heat upon her skull tells her so hairs that rise from bowed submission like a crowd rising from their seats someone else is getting through I remember my fear watching her suffer flashbacks not of her own I remember my dreams of fire and fatalities and I wonder why they chose us mother and child sharing every instance of life but this and fear silenced me I admit The black rage of unknown could close my eyes in an instant misunderstanding the intent And i'll always wonder if that Christmas we peiced together their message after all those years they put out their fires and lay to rest . |

Lots of imagery here, Gemma... I picked up the same lines as Maree... but then, I would! |
