there is a copious sprinkle
of cheeriness all around:
in the open sky
in the linking air
on the land spread wide
on the tall shoots
     of grass   in     green

the spring dawn
plushly adorns his mantle
while the golden sun
gently scythes her way
through teasing dribbles
     of white   cotton-like   clouds

in the eye of the morn
her svelte shape slides
with sizzling ease
right across his skin
as they revel in the sparks
of a new-found love

with the change of seasons
life salutes all
clad in glowing smiles
replenished
