to me came Eagle,
traditions,
rituals of time circumferenced,
in circumspect,
for I, the outsider,
welcomed, still,
caution
kept the bird away,
until I fell into

the prayer atone

and saw mine

taken to the skies…

I recently had a fascinating conversation with a man who shared with me of his native culture. All I can say is what a beautiful expression of his faith he has.
He sang a prayer for a group of volunteers and he told me after that when he prays, he always prays as though it were his last prayer because a person never knows if when their time will come. Anyway...you reminded me of this man that I met

Karilea, I had little goosebumps runs all the way from my shoulders up through my neck and checks when I saw the shadow on the bottom of your last photo along with your lovely words. WOW!
