….If I Understood there was a stranger on the beach walking too close to the edge I held my breath watching him as he straddled the thin line then suddenly the splash got him he was covered and shivered then the water warmed to his skin regained his balance and smiled I wondered if it was a lesson and I wondered…if I understood "be prepared to bleed" Joni Mitchell |
