I have sought comfort for hours... but the night is at war with temperamental godess hailing angry tears screaming winds that would be of red rage if only I dare look past the curtained pane. Thinking I hear her spit my name across the sky letting me know just who she is at war with I am lifeless against her pestering whispers that peirce glass to offer gentler threats hissing before my bed. Warmed sheets by my fellow pulsing veins sweat out what should be so cold... There is no open window and yet there are her clouds rising~heaving against lung cavity walls that are not meant to hold forever we all want to know what it feels like to die to be scattered in one breath over a glittering sea of starlight reflections and so she rages awakening hearts to beat a little faster to dream awake of nothing else. |
