* * *

My life has been enriched
By my love for the written word
For so long I hid my feelings
My inner voice was unheard

Then I put my pen to paper
And the words began to flow
As I was inspired by so many
My love for poetry began to grow

I shared my thoughts with strangers
There was so much we had to share
I found a place of peace and harmony
And I was welcomed there

Open arms were in abundance
So much talent was all around
As I read the words of others
My rightful place had been found

I now feel a part of something
Where my spirit can run free
In a place of love and compassion
We share our love of poetry

can speak volumes
'tho no words are actually spoken.
He has the ability to make
a connection with the heart"

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Sue, this is such a beautiful expression of the sense of belonging found here in blue.  I too have found a home and friends.  It is so wonderful to be so welcomed and to share with those who love poetry as we do.  Thank you for sharing your heart.

Hi Sue...
Isn't it wonderful to have a place to share our writing?
I love your style and grace with words.
Very much enjoyed this piece.

Brava!!!  As long as we can share with each other and so express our inner thoughts, it's a wonderful place.
