‘Tis said the cup’s half empty Or surely the cup’s half full; ‘Tis dependent on your outlook That’ll determine the one you know But as I go throughout this life, No longer do I say, “The cup I see is half full”, For every day that passes I notice more and more Someone keeps talking my half away Making it harder to see A half full cup that’s riding close to empty. |

Very interesting thoughts here. btw, I've a pitcher full, may I pour you some? Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Good thoughts here... Brought a babble to mind... Optimism is a magical elixer, one that is home brewed. Although it is true that it is not to everyone's liking, and that some seek to gather more than their own fair share... The regenerative properties fill the cup...for empty never comes. TD |

Enjoyed your ponderings, steavenr! I'm an optimist; I'd say half full and wishing you a full cup. ....jo |

thanks for the comments...all...though I must confess I wrote this totally out of character...just a trivial thought I had after hearing someone proclaim their cup was always half empty...mine never gets much below full...I have far too much to be thankful for...mine is generally running over |
