Both Sides Of The Wall Some people hide their self behind And some stand in front, still hid Some push their loved ones away And most don’t know why they did. Some turn the trust of others Into something they don’t feel They can’t see the blatant truth Or believe what they know, is real. On one side, the straight and narrow And one of the other, parallel Could be the path to happiness Or down that rocky road to Hell. Some see the errors of their ways But some, blinders hide the view The ones who try to lead the way Know not, always, what they do. To reach out for a helping hand Is sometimes, the way to go Someone else might show that way Where, some don’t know where to go. But a wall built up in front of them Or up around them, or, behind Can shield them from the very things They seek for their heart and mind. 06-22-2004 Del "Abe" Jones |

Thought provoking observations. Enjoyed. ![]() Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
