clad to honor life

summer skirts lifted
breeze on air lightly drifted
like funhouse surprise

expectations high
carnival clown lands in town
floppy shoes cure frown

plate, pasta, sauce, cheese
satisfy my tongue with ease
tummy meets my knees

absent without leave
my mind hides up my sleeve
excusing folly

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Oh Virginia....these are wonderful!!
Thank you for the smiles this summery afternoon.
~Hugs, Nancy~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Big smile, what a slew.  Too cool.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
