damp song carry
from lady river sighs
she breathes her voice
to the souls of cloud men

she shimmers their tegument
and polishes their ends
with her palm pool swirl
she is deep current then

her dark water moans
to the roots of tree people
she is wanton for intrusion
a mistress with rings and echos

what gypsy plays her music
and leaves her bed
before she wakes
what sun skin satan

makes her shun the dawn

Beautiful images Dark..
Much enjoyment for my eyes this morning.
Hugs~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

your imagery, vocabulary and word play make my shutter finger and hike feet ache for a river road.
love the undercurrent and ripples of this one DS.

I'm in need of a lazy river...afloat on some tube down south with a bottle of wine and tater chips. Not even caring that I made it to the ocean and floated all the way to the west coast, a little less pale.

Love,

That's some midnight ripple trickling down DS,
but I'm guessing, she liked riding the raging rapids even more.

Good on ya, slick~
