Reading

I feel the rose I feel the lace
My fingers read in Braille your face
And whispers pierce my hungry ear
Like honey when your breath is near

Your spirit permeates the green
Makes flowers grow where none were seen
Fills me with a lusty bind
Intoxicates my thirsty mind

My phantom bears your wear of favor
Trailing in the breeze in waiver
Keeps your presence in my sight
Stays my heart in sheer delight

I camp before your Ivy tower
Wait before your place of dower
Sighing for your souls embrace
To lie against you’re rose and lace

You are my sail of soft velour
You are my grail my cynosure

Cynosure, meaning center of attraction

Wonderful morning verse today Sy!
And, I just learned a new word!
~Morning hugs~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

My, how I loved this poem.  It really made me smile.  Besides the charming romance, I learned a new word.  I actually looked the word up before I noticed your definition on the bottom and another one of its definition is something that provides guidance.  The only reason I mention that is that a few years back, there was a song called "Honey, you are my shinning star."  Now all day, I am going to hear that song, except I'm going to change the the words to "Honey, you are my cynosure....." lol -- .......jo
