Crumpled paper on the floor, Waste basket brimming full, My brain can't storm anything, And half I write is bull. Ideas come ~ then fly away, I wonder where they go! I wish they'd stay, so I could write, ~ At least one little mot! A sheet of white, glares at me, Just daring me to write, But wisdom pearls, come not at all, Tho' I try with all my might! Perhaps I'm trying way too hard, To be Edgar Allen Poe, So I'll put the pen, back in my hand, And let the blue ink flow! [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (06-17-2004 09:17 PM).] |

While you could moan of midnight dreary You beam an angel's light And hasten to support a friend, Helping to make things right. Yeah, leave the Poe to others....you would not fit well in the pit as the pendulum swung overhead..... Nor would you and that pesky little Raven get along very well.....My understanding is ravens don't like angels very much.... I think your quill is sharp and ready to rock at most any second!!!! |

Mr. T. ~ A second poem by you for me in one day! Well I most humbly curtsey before you with my utmost gratitude and appreciation! I am saving this lovely poetic response in my secret trove of poetic treasures from my PiP friends! I received some pretty distressing news about a loved one today and somehow I know everything is going to be just fine. I think my angels prodded all you Pip angels to write things that would perk me up ~ and you did! ~ and you, Sir T, did it two times over!  EA |
