Tell Me Again Will you tell me that story again? The one that makes me search and not give up; The story that makes me patient And gives me purpose and reason… I want to hear the story again, So I will know when it happens. Tell me again how you met… I love the vivid descriptions of that first time, When you spotted her across the crowd And time you said stood still, like no one else existed; It was the first time you heard your heart beat, And the last time your heart said “yes”. Describe to me the “kiss” The kiss that made your heart dance--- I can only imagine how it swirled and swirled Like a ballerina pirouetting on sweet ice, Sort of like chocolate and vanilla ice cream Only sweeter and tastier to the palate. How about that laugh, Please let me hear it again, I know it embarrasses you, but it tickles my soul To hear that silly giggle or that hearty expelling of joy That you two so often shared. I know I am not quite experienced enough, But can you again share that intimate portion, Of that first special moment… Your word was “fantasticorgasmicpassionatelovemaking” That cracks me up--- Because your eyes close when you reminisce And you seem to be at that moment once again. Ok, we will move on…”fantasticorg…” ha-ha I know it hurts But tell me again how your tears will never end, How like a rainfall they will drop forever And how brightly they glisten in the eve, Like Heaven’s lights trapped in crystals--- Tell me… I promise not to cry again, Tell me again how there will never be another, Tell me again how you fell in love.
