In the sand of my land motionless roses bloom in the cold and wave in the breeze the message of soul I’m not yet equipped to hear. I know there are words as I cut and trim and place what’s not meant to be in only one room to hear me moan and watch over me faithfully. There are only four, beautiful all, for the others moved on long ago to lie in wait and maybe to pray for the blossoming of a soul. When we have seen, done, and believed, and winter still heralds new growth then I have heard the words of soul testify to my given birth right. The right to live and suffer the grief, the right to stay grounded in my belief, when the wind scatters my seeds of hope and plants my dreams in the sky. And there one day a rose will bloom, only one rose in only one room, for the last rose grown from eternal love is the one waiting there just for you! Helen |

Everytime I read a post that takes my breath away and leaves feeling like I won't find another one quite as good as this one, I stumble upon a post that makes me step back and reevaluate that feeling. Because here, again, I find another post that seems will be unmatched in it's perfection. I have never seen a site, a family, with such brilliance in its pages. I am in awe over and over again. Simply incredible writing. Thanks for sharing. Kevin |

Thank you all so very much for your kind comments. The four beautiful dark pink roses seem not to be all for already more buds are waiting to open. That's pretty amazing considering that it's soon time to prune the bushes. How can you cut down something that is still producing in spite of the elements? I also have one lonely red rose but that one's staying on the bush - I only need four. |
