For a very special person, who is carrying an agony that no one should have to bear, and with less loving support than anyone should have. Even Your Tears Let my thoughts rest lightly on your shoulder, as if my hand were there. Let me shadow you all through this night of your despair, pick up for you whatever falls, even your tears. These things I’ll hold for you, keep safe until you need them once again. Some day when hurt is past , when you can carry such a load I’ll give them back. Until then they’re safe with me, and I will lift whatever falls, even your tears. ~~J |
