I was rooted in the valley of blood I heard the wind of widows When they cursed my limbs I was not fearful of the axe For I wore the yellow ribbons My tattoos were girl names And boy names drawn With arrows that were dull ended My tattoos were spell songs Cast by the dream dancers I don’t hear their sounds now Or the leaves rubbing together When the sun tells of spring, For the buttons of brass Are loud cymbals And in my shadows The white crosses Are wolves feeding They howl as cannons Praying for the dawn What God took away their eyes? I liked that a lot...it was mystical and drawn well...so suitable to my mood. Delightful good job. "love me, fear, do as I say, and I will be your slave." Jareth in the labryinth (David Bowie) |

I don’t hear their sounds now Or the leaves rubbing together When the sun tells of spring, I don't hear them either, but like you said, the sun is telling and even harder to miss. Nice to read you again, DS~ |

Truly read, a poem may help us understand dimensions of life that seem unrelated....I have to say this one has done exactly that for me. Exactly that. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Thanks for the warm hands on my shoulder...you are all so kind, war stories are never attractive hard to even use romantic in them but there are hearts involved and so much love.. Thanks again to ALL of you DS |
