Turning pumpkin colors, leaf peepers
Defining character
Blue hued morning mists over twisting skyline
Hairpin turns leading to high places
Open stories where wild flowers bloom
Spare change gives a backward glance
Literature growing pensive, emotional
Endless natural flame sliding into yellow butter
Small dreams burning into life
Poetic form enchanting the soul’s landscape
To be along side of cotton white puffs
Standing face to face with a mountain voyage
Caravans of statues and monuments
Promising the wind to sing in morning’s breath
With internal integrity…liquid shadows
Adorning a place, where there agapes silence
Dreaming glimmers of water symphonies
Shaking off winter’s drug
Vibrant leaves lace serpentine
And there I peck for crumbs
Appreciative for mountain things
Which ease like the eagle glides
