where the wild flowers grow

blasé, my world,
is quaking.

I continue
to put together
pieces of
my puzzle,
in my womb, still lying,
in my
liquid home.

and the vultures are picking
at my
shedding skin.

the earth is spinning
backwards
we
begin again..

blasé,
I do not express fear
towards ghosts.

Apparations of faith.

I felt you burning
but I would not
or rather, could not,
give a care.

I've yet to become existent,
and I thank
time travel for that.

I can change,
metamorphasize,
never do those things again.

But when I get to thinking,
I find myself preferring
that I'd never been
born at all.

Second chances
are just
curses waiting
to happen..

And I'm missing pieces.

You know what, i can identify. It does feel that way sometimes/all the time.

How can something this packed
with metaphor,
be blase?

Simple.  It cannot.

for another fine example
of what one can do with, and for,
poetry.

Some people take chunks of us and then run off screaming, "mine, mine, all mine" just like the cartoon...

I promise if I see any of your missing parts I will get them for you if you do the same for me?
