From saints to sinners comes the word but no fancy script on parchment or gold embossed coat of arms unfolds before the naked eye when opened is the mind to love’s silent messages. Hidden in emotive states even wise men cannot find where to start unraveling the knot I feel inside. I pant, I run, it builds and grows till upward through the throat flows pain and anger, sadness, and love I have disowned. But not in me the agony to read, assess, and know, and so I fold the message back into the air. Along the grid it travels begging for release and I left here behind merely cry my empathy useless like the hand of love on shoulders of the ego. Heaven parts to show and tell the cruelty of human beings towards the world of soul and I now bear the weight of love’s silent punishment! Helen |

I liked that verse especially~ I'm all through being a glutton for punishment, I mean how many times can a person go back for more? Ya know? Love your work Helen~ Hugs~ |

Thank you all for reading. Sometimes in life some people can be privy to things they shouldn't know. I'm getting used to it now but still can't understand ... why me. Dear Martie - we never get more than we can handle and, in the great scheme of things, I am fine. Heartache is merely a stepping stone in any case although I have been known to "freeze" while crossing a shallow river on stepping stones. I had help to continue to the other side and help always comes when we need it. Sorry for the long story but I wouldn't want you feeling "down". Hi, Bluesy - We only go back if we think it's worthwhile so we're stuck until we think otherwise. Like they say, "It's all in the mind". Thanks, Helen |
