I wrote this today on the
fifth anniversary of my father's death.

I bring flowers to your grave
On this cold Autumn morn
Time has moved so quickly
For so long you have been gone

You always loved the early mornings
For you, the best time of the day
I'm alone here in the graveyard
As I place flowers where you lay

The birds sing high above me
Such a sweet melodious tune
I close my eyes and wonder
Why you were taken from me so soon

Right now I feel so lonely
'tho I know I'm not alone
I take great comfort in knowing
Within my heart you have a home

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Oh goodness, Sue, this one touched my heart.
I think of my parents and how I'm going to
miss them when I lose them. It makes me very sad.
