Let me out of this acherontic pit
I long for the light of your touch
Dissipate the dark of confinement

I beat my fist bloody
Against the cold, stone walls
Of my own mistrust

I plead for you to come
And carry me from this cell
Show me the warmth of your whisper

Speak to me with eyes
That shed hope through look
Caress insecurity from my skin

I beg your forgiveness
Of my ignorant precondition
I long to trace you
Free from the bias of past

For the walls grow closer and
the rancid air of my own exhale
just won't last

"cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind"

Very powerful.  It would take stone walls to confine you.

Thank you everyone

(Gemma~ I have minty fresh breath, thank you!)

Anybody consider that this might have been about trying to find faith again?
