 Picture by Alan Ayers * * * You are the mist lying low over the valley You are the wind that moves through the trees You are the gull that glides over the ocean Your touch is soft like a warm Summer's breeze Your kiss transports me to heaven Your love flows like a mountain stream You are my every wish come true For you are my ultimate dream You are the first Spring flower in the meadow When the harshness of Winter is no more You are the rustic leaves of Autumn That fall softly on the forest floor Your love is of great importance With you I stand ten feet high My love for you is endless It reaches far beyond the sky You are the chain around my neck You hold the key to my heart's door You are my very reason for living I've not known love like this before You and I have much in common Ours is a special chemistry You've made a difference to my life And you mean the world to me I am in motion I am blue Love is an ocean I'm anchored in you - Shawn Mullins |
