Bars Of Flesh

To be trapped within,
is possibly the worst
of all prisons.

'Cause no one can see
what it takes just
to breath.

Worse yet knowing that
nothing has you locked
inside...

Unless you consider
the hold of which
your own chains
bind, and hold you down.

No check in,
No check out,
always here,
forever in doubt.

No one to set you free
'cause no one knows
where you are
alone inside this hell
tending to your scars.

'Tis an awful place to be
locked inside this prison,
deep inside of me.

It's funny now that I can't remember the pain that it took to find happiness...

Very powerful!  Strong emotion!  Great job!

~you reached inside, you touched my heart,
and I am all the better for it~
