the carpet stains
the walls within
the people around
me but I feel I
don't fit in.

Same as they may be
more they won't
understand i feel
different around them

but you I feel as if
I knew you forever
once in a place of
horrid pain and misery
I share the most personal
things with you before
I've ever known you were
alive.

the time scapes through
our window sills as I count
the days that I'll be with you
the man in the black coat
shakes it off with his hands
I beg of him to give me another
chance.

the love Ive found is scary as
it may seem I won't let it go
no matter what you mean everything
to me.

Fool me once shame on you.....Fool me twice shame on me.....

thanks,im glad you guys liked it. I gave the poem I written here*True Compassion* to the guy who inspired me to write it. he loved it and got all choked up and said that was the nicest thing anyone has ever said to him before.
