Love is as sick as you are. Les Paul dreams in milky Sunday blues Where you fight to watch your breath come alive In the summer air in your coat in your pants Ass-pocket spunk with interwoven funk That wobbles in the music like ball-point pens In wet cement that sticks to your ears With time and mind- Blowing riffs with a straw that you turn to sop And eat like art letters in tomato soup featuring Aqualung Who sickens sickens sickens her and her And her Poems created from scraps of pain she borrowed From her mother who gave them to her for free And you burn burn burn into skies you’ll never see And again I saw you- Beating on the window of self-defense Under your father’s word Who makes You sit in your room And talk to your guitar Love is as sick as you are. Love is as sick as you are. "The story of life is quicker than the wink of an eye. The story of love is Hello and Goodbye. Until we meet again..." -Jimi Hendrix |

Your title wins the best of show award today!!! It has always struck me as odd that for all the soul that music may reflect it is completely devoid of volition or of morality. It is a vehicle that may be driven to heaven or hell or anywhere between. Thanks for the thought provoking write. |
