Trans-cend She enters the room, the light flickers to life, starts the water running… Staring into the mirror remembering moments just gone when she allowed inhibition to slip and music fill the soul moving rhythmically, just part of the crowd then, the slipping back into now wash off the mask of acceptance, look into the mirror seeing the shy remains of dignity draining into the swirl of water disappearing down the sink… turn off the water turn out the lights nothing left to feel here ~he exits~ |

Lina, this is a great poem..and the imagery terrific, I could hear the tap sqeaking on and the water running, and I can see it swirling down into the pipes...and the water? yes, it had much clarity. Most Enjoyed, really very touching. Maree The clouds never expect it when it rains, but the sea, changes colour, but the sea, does not change. |
