+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Mine is not a simple life, For I exist on dual planes, The grounded and the linear, And the esoteric reigns. At times I'm rather practical, And my mind works logically, Then the Eye of Horus opens up, And I "see" things magically. Spirits gather 'round me, In the quiet of the day, I channel these Higher Energies, And write down what they say. Beautiful Linda, I am not familiar with the term "Horus Eye" but I really like the way you describe the movements between the "practical" and the "esoteric" [I call these realms 'relative and absolute']and how your poem opens into the infinite that you are describing....Thank you for putting this experience into such exquisite language....~P |

Dear Choshi ~ Actually it is the Eye of Horus. In ancient Egypt it represented the view into other worlds. Horus Eyes were evidenced all through the pyramids and it is one of the glyphs in the hieroglyphic script. I appreciate your kind words and the thought you put into your response. Thank you! ~ To paraphrase Shakespeare's words in "Hamlet", "There is more to heaven and earth than is dreamt of in one's philosophy." ~ Eyes that are truly open, can see into the forever and beyond. In vedic terms, the whole knowledge of the universe resides within everyone of us. If we are only quite enough to transcend, all answers lay within -- being interconnected through the ages that have been, that are, and that we shall soon know.
