I Gave

I gave my spirit to the myth
In hopes of giving it some width
By listening to the silent beat
The ghost of violent in retreat

I wondered in a mystery green
The pleasant of a lovely scene
And cast my phantom in beget
To spin the wheel of minds roulette

And in the ringing of the chime
I felt the rhythm of the rhyme
It set me on a rainbow walk
A colored walk without a fork

With filigree of every hue
That sparkled with each drop of dew
Thus sending mist into the air
To bring a magic bill of fair

A touch of heaven to the eye
That brought a tear from out a sigh.
