Feel My Hand Upon Your Heart When pine trees quiver with the wind's caress, Their needles cold-trembling in the dark; When you need a woman's tenderness, Then feel my hand upon your heart. When starlight silvers the shivering bough And wood-shadows dance together, apart; When moonglow falls on your weary brow, You'll feel my hand upon your heart. When darkness gathers and sleep would claim you, When lonliness lingers and love seems far; I'll reach across the miles to warm you - Just feel my hand upon your heart. |
