Much thanks to my cohert in poetry, Magnus, for awakening my sleeping muse Love Anew If love were left to find a heart Upon the steps of mountains high Two hands would clasp, pull not apart As eagles flew in soaring sky And if love lingered, stilling time As hands enclasped beneath the moon Could poets ever pen such lines To cause these lovers hearts to swoon For in their hearts a promise lay To love and cherish for all time A couples vow their words would say From written script of lover's rhyme He swore to her his love was true She swore she'd never leave his side In wedding white, borrowed, and blue She vowed that she would be his bride A blush did show as hearts did race Upon the night when they were wed When two loves joined in one embrace Beneath the stars above their heads 'Twas on that night, the comets rained And as the stars fell to the earth He kissed her face where veil did train And heavens sighed at loves rebirth |

For in their hearts a promise lay To love and cherish for all time A couples vow their words would say From written script of lover's rhyme He swore to her his love was true She swore she'd never leave his side In wedding white, borrowed, and blue She vowed that she would be his bride ~*~ Ah, Ruth...you did indeed find a true poet with whom to mix your muse... Magnus...you could not have requested the assistance of a better poet, than our Ruth, to write such a love poem. Thank you both for leaving us all such a treasure. |

Well mercy sakes, was that a beauty you two. What a fantastic duo you make, so would it be asking too much for another? |

nice work you two - I especially like: "And if love lingered, stilling time As hands enclasped beneath the moon Could poets ever pen such lines To cause these lovers hearts to swoon " |

There is a pinnacle in poetry, where it is obvious that the gifts have matured and render excellence, seamless, flowing and beautiful you two. TD |
