BUG

The red Volkswagen.
That's what I remember about her most.

Oh, you may say that there's nothing like
A riverside apartment,
A cozy little love shack,
But it's the Volkswagen I remember most.

The way the engine hummed,
The way it rumbled along,
The bad gas mileage,
I don't know why.

Oh, I miss her sometimes,
When she beep-beeps through my heart.

I believe the most important component of a poem is rhythm. Rhythm is the heartbeat of a poem. It is what makes poetry poetry.

Loved the Bug! I had a bug in early years and my first love and I had wonderful times sharing the ride in it. This speaks to me.

My brother had a Volkswagen that he loved dearly...

This is cute. Of course, you misspelled Volkswagen, which threw me for a minute. This is a very sly poem.
