Just Kidding Sol got up late this morning ‘cuz we’re saving daylight... moving it to the other end robbing the nighttime of its early retire I like it that way,though, does that make me a thief at heart? I hope not... after all, aren’t we just borrowing it we give it back to the night in the fall We just take it for awhile, that’s all. We try to treat it well, letting sun cast its spell and its rays our way for just a little bit more of day. It’s an attempt at early rising in a way we don’t have to depend on will a way to fool ourselves into thinking we arise at the same hour watch the morning flower and reserve more time to play at the end of day ©April 5, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

What a fun write! As an Arizona native the whole daylight savings thing is fairly new...this is my 3rd year and I still refer to the time changes by saying phrases such as "It's 3 right now, but in REAL LIFE it's still only 2", but I guess I'm adjusting because I can't seem to remember which time of year is "Real Life" anymore! Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |
