I’m back, I’m back, at long last back!
Anyone notice I was gone?
I’m sittin’ here, serious as a shark attack,
Been away from the internet far too long.

Missed my ‘puter, missed this site,
Missed reading all this wonderful verse.
Now I’ll have to stay up all night,
Catching up—oh well, could be worse—

I could still be staring at a dusty blank screen,
Working up a serious poetry “Jones”,
Wishing to heck my old machine,
Would plug in, turn on, take me home.

But now that I’m here, where should I start?
I’m pointing and clicking all over the place!
Rereading poems that touched my heart,
And there’s new talent all over the place!

A big hello to all of you,
The view is great from where I’m sitting!
I’ll be reading yours, and posting some too,
Am I happy to be back?What, are you kidding?
