these visions never quite filled my eyes the same

since he became the enemy

my only,

just as submissive wont taste the same

after she and he

and you and I.

On your midnight walk

in sobering thoughts

up and away from where I drink you drunk

fog shall reach you

entwine her fingers over your eyes,

and you will look at me with ironic clarity

to find I am not who you thought.

In the end

you will look through me

and I you....

Convinced

blurred vision

will come to your naive bliss,

I never want to fall unconditionally

through thick rains again

when all I have

is battered skin.

He still makes me feel deceased

watching from skies

with no way to touch the living

with my breath.
