Sky faded to grey, no sign of sun.
Cool and quiet, just birdsong.
Alone but calmly contented,
you were on my mind.

Fresh smell of cut grass,
the trees are greener everyday.
Knowing that you see nature too,
and are letting it into heart and mind pleases me.

A full week of rain,
with thunder and lightening.
After rain, soily smells rise
the Blackthorn flower scents sickly.

Breeze buzzes past my ears,
they hear rumbling drum rolls.
My hope is that you have
refreshing breeze on your dear face.

Closing my eyes, i see you
closing yours, both in waking dreams.
Seeing you within nature, within
Gods love, brings quiet grace.

Inevetably after seeing your face,
i become lost, my heart sinks.
Bluebells are in the woodland,
but they have never looked plainer at the side of you.

May happiness wash over you,
may you walk in the shadow of Jesus.
May your heart be free of hurt and harm,
may your love grow like a rose of gold.

God's love, nature, and especially waking dreams, are all one in the same! Great poem.

and i'm certain that if i drive into those trees, it would make less of a mess, than she's made of me...
