The edge disappeared a long time ago absorbed by the mist like a wish and a prayer yet still in a normal upright body pose shuffle the hopes of a woman, a man. The air has grown heavy and hangs with a fear of the purpose of dreams disappearing somewhere far from the hands of a women in love and far from a man’s need of release. Encased and unlabeled in a no name brand bag and immersed in brine of lip service love from the edge to the air to whatever prevails walks the afraid, the scared, and dismayed. And I watch how the route in a circle, a square, always ends up at the beginning again awaiting the death of perceived consequence from a past life, past deed, past mistake. To fall holding hands with the newly departed is to know that somewhere is the safety we seek peaceful and known in the depths of our souls but denied free flow along our brain waves. But who chooses to fall and headlong plunge into the arms of unseen loving beings when feet on the ground foretell certainty and continuance of insignificance? Only someone who stops, listens, and looks, and can safely lift a glistening dew drop out from the pool of mass human needs and wear as a locket around a true heart. And such is unknown in reality’s hold but soul to soul know how glows a dew drop! Helen |

Oh, I like that 'dewdrop' image, and this has a great flow. It reads like a song. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Nan - Thank you. I somehow can't get out of the "sing song" effect but where there's life, there's hope. Thanks, Martie. Digging deep sure does have it's drawbacks like eventually having to "come clean" and who likes to think they were ever dirty anyway. Thank you, Ethel. I'm so glad you enjoyed. |
