Don't remember poetry or meeting you writing words of wisdom in a human zoo allowed to throw taunts from my nightly cage allowed to pull stunts on my worldly stage Caught in the cycle that Shakespeare denoted I am born on a theatre, platform coated in motion towards a final curtain I know life's cyclical brevity for certain... as soon as I exit off the far left another man will fill my human cleft Don't remember your physical presence yet cameo images insist to decorate a final resting place, result of subtle fate don't remember ever meeting you sharing a moment, even a seasonal flu Am caught in a web spun by life's circumstance to reap what I can sew given an opportune chance to remember a poem or gently forget, dry myself off when the weather turns wet... As soon as I exit the stage, off far left, another will stand in to fill my human cleft. [This message has been edited by wordwizard (02-12-2004 10:50 PM).] |

This leaves one asking questions, Martin... as poems should do... Thank you! |

A great interpretation of the cycle many of us feel more often than many. Enjoyed. |
