The man sat on the park bench
In the early-morning air
Unable to believe the sight
That he was seeing there.

There was Toerag and LongJohn,
Parks Department jerseys on,
Each armed with a shovel
Digging big holes in the lawn!!

Toerag would dig a round, deep hole
Then stand back with a grin
As LongJohn used his shovel
To fill all the dirt back in!!

They then moved to another spot
And each one did the same..
Toerag digging, LongJohn filling
Like some crazy game.

All around the park they went
Digging, filling holes,
Working with a fervor like
Two epileptic moles!!

His curiosity had grown so strong
He walked up to LongJohn
And said, "Are you two nuts?
What the HELL is going on?!?!"

"Well, normally, we work in threes",
The man heard LongJohn say,
"but Balladeer, who plants the trees
Called in sick today."

ROFLMAO... As I've suspected all along... something vital is missing from the mix if any of the three of you aren't participating in the play... er... work. *G*
