Don't try to gag me with your lies and cries, don't claim that what I say and do amount to a threat to national security. What I have said repeatedly is I don’t agree with your political policy. All I’ve done is verbally protest and sent you ten emails, only one of which has been replied to perhaps because its only one of millions you’ve received daily. I know you are very busy, but this protesting voting citizen has apparently not been heard. So, Mr. President, and Homeland Security Office, I hereby make this protest letter public: You have no right to gag me, and I have EVERY right to speak out. Indeed, it is my civic responsibility to one of my ancestors, Matthew Thornton. He put his signature on The Declaration of Independence so that his family and all citizens of this country could speak their minds freely, without fear of government reprisal. And yet this very day, you attempt to shut some of us up. In Iowa, the FEDS have subpoened Drake University non-violent protestors who held a forum, hoping to bring Iowa guardsmen home from your (illegal) war in Iraq. The protestors include a librarian, the leader of the Catholic Peace Ministry, a former leader of the Iowa Peace Network, and a local chapter of The National Lawyers Guild. So, I hereby do declare this attempt by this government to stifle dissent will not be tolerated by WE THE PEOPLE. |

 (big angel hugs) What part of "no president should be ranked above criticism" does Bush and his administration not understand? (grunts) Did you catch "Meet The Press" this morning, that convinced me that he has no offensive strategy, all he ever does is follow his "defensive-offensive" strategy that behind backs steals away all our rights of dissent!
