The Feelings Still Remain

I wrote of my emotions
It proves that I can feel
For I know in my heart
In true feelings I reveal

Aroused by inspiration
Knowing feelings grew
I had not written before
Not until there was you

Feelings began to flow
All those poems to you
For words were written
By my heart forever true

The feelings still remain
Yet my poems fall apart
For now it seems words
Fails to reach your heart

Gosh, dear Hope, 3000 poems!! What lucky guy! Now, please please share some of the lucky times!
Life changes, but no one will ever be able to cancel from your heart what has been.
I know this is hard, but for our own sake we must learn to detach emotionally, while still being grateful for what we had.
Also sadness inspires beautiful poems there is no doubt, you show this.
