when love is remembered
the heart is lonely
the soul is lost
the mind is numbed
when love is remembered

all that is, is forgotten
for the decays of days bygone

the heart is happy
the soul is found
the mind is freed
when love is remembered

all that is, is all the better
because of days bygone
