“EMBRACE OF CLOSENESS”

A glass of wine pressed to moist lips appealing,
your eyes pierce as they sparkle in candlelight,
they dance with the flame of a delicate melody,
whispering promises to see them into daylight…

Another instrumental plays on with notes soft,
listen to the rhythm sing out in soft ballet,
take my hand and we’ll glide over this floor,
a new beginning to start, to not throw away…

Hold me tight in tenderness of this yearning,
sway with a lover’s touch to blues in harmony,
whisper to me thoughts that dwell deep within,
close your eyes yet open, dream of what will be…

This night a softer breeze caresses on faces,
seconds become dreams, minute’s eternity,
time is of the essence, but what do we care,
for this embrace of closeness are of two in unity…
