Love's Tears

She sat quietly beside me.
Her body turned towards me
But her arms were crossed.

Then I saw the tear
As it ran down her cheek.

She felt my love was missing
And that I had abandoned her.
The hurt was hidden

Except for the tear.

I reached out for her
And took her in my arms.
I kissed away that tear
To reassure her.

My love would never fade.
And I would find a way
To be with her forever.

A new tear appeared
One of joy and hope.

I didn't kiss it away...

I let it fall onto my lips.

Ahhh, such a tender write of love Scorpio.
Love does have it's moments when tears are spilled.
That's not to mean the love is not there..
For I am certain it always is.
Being human we do have moments when we fear being alone.

You're absolutely right Tinker. Tears are sometimes part of love. But we must do whatever is possible to correct problems causing the tears. A hug and a kiss go a long ways to re-assure and comfort.
